An overview on chemical constituents and biological activities of Zingiber officinale

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a common kitchen spice that belongs to the family Zingiberaceae. It rich in phytochemistry promoting health benefits. used as home remedy support cold, headaches, and pharmacological properties such anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiemetic, antiulcer, anti-cancer, antiplatelet, anti-diabetic lipid-lowering activities. Gingerols are key ingredients found ginger convert into zingerone, shogaol, parasols, giving flavor odor. Zingerone shogaol present limited quantities fresh more dried or extracted goods. Especially 6-gingerol 6-shogaol effective antipyretic, analgesic hypotensive. The review about different therapeutic of ginger, including antioxidant properties, anti-cancer etc.
